Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Geovani Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe Leite. Giuseppe Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Agnaldo Marinho got a free kick in the 10th minute. Giuseppe Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Leite. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Moreto F.C. - Capivari getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Douglas Eger hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moreto F.C. - Capivari the free kick. The supporters of Moreto F.C. - Capivari booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovani Barreto. Giuseppe Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moreto F.C. - Capivari's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giuseppe Leite quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Geovani Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Giuseppe Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute of the match, Geovani Barreto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Alvarenga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Conrado Barreto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Giuseppe Leite made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a Moreto F.C. - Capivari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Giuseppe Leite got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Giuseppe Leite in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador played a much better game than Moreto F.C. - Capivari and deserved their victory. The Moreto F.C. - Capivari players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
