An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Pope in the 34th minute of play forced EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinicio Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Zeciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vinicio Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bohemians Praa's Leonardo Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Iraunkor in the 38th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Alagoano came free, but Leonardo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EL CERVECERO F.C.'s zone, Quentin Pope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Felipo came out of the goal and Quentin Pope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Leonardo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Tomiczek in the 51st minute of play. Leonardo Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's Jez Toulson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Felipo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonardo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Zjawin in the 88th minute of play. Niceto Ranolfo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
