Cesario Roma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Cervera's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Cervera in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesario Roma saved BFC 1982 from getting behind. Nicasio Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Abadia having to interfere. Edgardo Txaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Abadia having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Moises Luzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Ospin came free, but Cesario Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Barrionuevo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Barrionuevo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Barrionuevo.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Los Piratas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BFC 1982:s goal. 53 minutes into the game, Honorato Acevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Martin Abadia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goalkeeper Cesario Roma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Cervera. The supporters of Los Piratas FC booed when BFC 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Los Piratas FC's Cesario Roma threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moises Luzea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leandro Corderro's late challenge caught a Los Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Corderro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goalkeeper Cesario Roma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Urbasa. Cesario Roma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Luzea in the 84th minute of play. If Leandro Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Silverio Truylos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesario Roma. That made the score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. The BFC 1982 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Piratas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Piratas FC.
