After a rather tough play, Bohemians Praa's Jiří Roček got a free kick in the 5th minute. Damian Maftei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martinez Cines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jez Toulson. 25 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Pope came free, but Aguinaga Nebot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Maftei in the 29th minute of play forced Bohemians Praa's goalkeeper Leonardo Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Damian Maftei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonardo Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Esmeraldas S.C. defense, Jez Toulson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aguinaga Nebot. The Esmeraldas S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aguinaga Nebot should have stopped the shot. If Jez Toulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jez Toulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aguinaga Nebot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Damian Maftei made the kick off in the second half. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Quentin Pope in the 56 minute of the game. İbrahim Volkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Bezerra having to interfere. A collision led to Bohemians Praa getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cebrail Coşkuner hit a great ball. Bohemians Praa made a substitution. Xu Wei Ang replaced Jiří Roček. After 66 played minutes Bohemians Praa got a freekick which was hit by Cebrail Coşkuner. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-2 when İbrahim Volkan sped through Bohemians Praa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Bezerra. A sloppy throw-in by Andrei Zeciu in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Esmeraldas S.C.'s Marc Pringle. Leonardo Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Damian Maftei sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Endre Sámuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Daniel Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İbrahim Volkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leonardo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stefanos Terzopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Esmeraldas S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefanos Terzopoulos couldn't finish the play. Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 95 minutes in the game, fortunately Leonardo Bezerra had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Esmeraldas S.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
