The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorge Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Moise in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ernesto Moise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 狄朗沙 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Julio Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If 狄朗沙 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Gotzon in the 15th minute of play forced C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's goalkeeper Jorge Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jorge Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 狄朗沙, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 26th match minute, C.A. COLORADA TIERRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's goalkeeper Jorge Vigil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to C.A. COLORADA TIERRA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gaston Liher hit a great ball. Ernesto Moise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Vigil having to make a save. Ernesto Moise struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jorge Vigil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión De Santa Fe. After a rather tough play, C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's Angelino Millano got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Ernesto Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes C.A. COLORADA TIERRA got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Bittor. After 48 minutes, 狄朗沙 made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's Jorge Vigil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 狄朗沙 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, 狄朗沙 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Vigil. 狄朗沙 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Jorge Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄朗沙, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Unión De Santa Fe's Jorge Gotzon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 63rd minute, Unión De Santa Fe's Jorge Gotzon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Vigil. Jorge Vigil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The attack was good, but when 狄朗沙 in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 70th minute, Alejandro Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 狄朗沙 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jorge Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of C.A. COLORADA TIERRA booed when Unión De Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Briolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Yang Zhan Xiao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Vigil. C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yang Zhan Xiao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Moise in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Vigil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unión De Santa Fe's 狄朗沙 got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, 狄朗沙 lined in a short shot 1-7 behind a frustrated Jorge Vigil. 狄朗沙 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vigil having to interfere. If Kostas Skilitsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that 狄朗沙's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Vigil was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes C.A. COLORADA TIERRA got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Liher. Unión De Santa Fe played a much better game than C.A. COLORADA TIERRA and deserved their victory. The C.A. COLORADA TIERRA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
