Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Vătăşel in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Scorpions -MM-'s Octav Vătăşel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Severiano Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lα Sυв 21's Severiano Enekoitz in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Ţintă made a kick off. Walter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Lα Sυв 21's Walter Zenga threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severiano Enekoitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lα Sυв 21's goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 minutes Lα Sυв 21's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornel Giuverdea who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cornel Giuverdea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Merexildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ernesto Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Ţintă's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Pablo Vegetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Ţintă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Cirilo Fe made a precise shot to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a rather tough play, Lα Sυв 21's Xiao Xiao got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Paulo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Vrânceanu in the 89th minute of play forced Lα Sυв 21's goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Vrânceanu's late challenge caught a Lα Sυв 21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
