Poli Dream Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Poli Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Mon to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Natalio Kemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Cirilo Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Kemen in the 39th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Acuña charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Acuña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Poli Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Acuña.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Poli Dream Team were awarded a corner. Natalio Kemen went to the cornerflag to take it. Aldo Odon struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poli Dream Team. The throw-in from Florencio Mon in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. In the 69th minute Natalio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Kemen in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poli Dream Team's Candido Euloxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute of play. If Domingo Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Aldo Odon notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poli Dream Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
