Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ulises Selmo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ulises Selmo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Oğuz Develi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Balboa A.f.c.'s Ulises Selmo got a free kick in the 11th minute. The Balboa A.f.c. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Balboa A.f.c.'s Ulises Selmo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Balboa A.f.c. defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Larpe. The Balboa A.f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Larpe should have stopped the shot. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Selmo scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remy Uytdebroeck's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Balboa A.f.c.'s Leonides Larpe got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ahmet Oğuz Develi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ahmet Oğuz Develi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute of the match Ulises Selmo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Remy Uytdebroeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Mannuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Leonides Larpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Balboa A.f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Oğuz Develi. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Larpe having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Oğuz Develi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Larpe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, Balboa A.f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Călin to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Leonides Larpe to make any attempt to save it. Ulises Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
