Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rosendo Olivar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 蔡庭峰 having to interfere. The supporters of Sarmiento booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rosendo Olivar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sarmiento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Olivar couldn't finish the play. Sarmiento's Daniel Ulizes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 蔡庭峰 was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Daniel Ulizes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Ulizes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Senen was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarmiento's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bruno Senen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Ulizes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Rosendo Olivar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Olivar in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. 蔡庭峰 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 蔡庭峰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of 蔡庭峰 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Olivar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Pudes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, David Theodore notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Olivar in the 81st minute of play. 蔡庭峰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Senen who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sarmiento's Bruno Senen to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Olivar in the 91st minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Senen struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento.
