Cido Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Cido Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilson Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Grêmio RK75 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Duarte couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Martín Braithwaite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Braithwaite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Sena in the 20th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Bebeto Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin de Barros's late challenge caught a A A Arizona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Benjamin de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Hermínio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Hélio de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Grêmio RK75's Paulo Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Nunes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Paulo Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A A Arizona's Ademir Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 52 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Nunes came free, but Ademir Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Nunes's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes of play, Grêmio RK75's Martín Braithwaite made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademir Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ademir Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nunes in the 59th minute of the match. A A Arizona's Ademir Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Guerra in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Hermínio Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A A Arizona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The audience was convinced that Angelo Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademir Amaral was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Paulo Nunes scored 8-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademir Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Guerra came free, but Ademir Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78th play minutes Angelo Guerra shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Ademir Amaral and just under the crossbar into goal. Angelo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Cavalcante during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Emílio Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Terra. Paulo Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, Hermínio Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A A Arizona and the Grêmio RK75 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hermínio Veloso hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Martín Braithwaite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademir Amaral. A A Arizona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martín Braithwaite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grêmio RK75 fully deserved thier win.
