In the 4th minute, Maicon do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Romeu Prado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Figueira SC FSCMZ's Marcelo Medeiros. Marcelo Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral got control of the ball when Renatinho Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder dos Santos in the 17th minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Marcelo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Geovani Borges could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Falcão Cabral however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Paulo Jardel put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Medeiros. After 26 minutes, Evaristo Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Figueira SC FSCMZ and the LauerArmy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Hélder dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marcelo Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Prado in the 37th minute of the match. Rony Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LauerArmy's zone, Evaristo Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Cabral came out of the goal and Evaristo Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Cabral having to interfere. After 47 played minutes LauerArmy got a freekick which was hit by Raí Reis. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, LauerArmy's Guga Freire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Falcão Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Britto's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Britto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Luiz Guilherme Paiva was substituted for Evandro do Valle. Geovanni Zonta hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Afonsinho Donatello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Cabral skillfully saved the ball. After 69 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Maicon do Nascimento. Marcelo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Zonta in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Renatinho Rodrigues hit a great ball. Marcelo Medeiros was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Waldemar Brodel. The audience was convinced that Paulo Jardel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Medeiros was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Freire came free, but Marcelo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Meira took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falcão Cabral. Falcão Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Marcelo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Freire in the 87th minute of the match. Romeu Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Medeiros having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LauerArmy's Giuseppe Mazza got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Figueira SC FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LauerArmy's performance. The match ended with a win for LauerArmy.
