Geovanni Zonta hit a great ball. With a little luck, LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral got control of the ball when Simão Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The LauerArmy fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when LauerArmy's Hélder dos Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hélder dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Falcão Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Hélio de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A A Arizona's protests and gave Hélio de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of A A Arizona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LauerArmy:s goal. The referee gave LauerArmy a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geovanni Zonta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 94th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LauerArmy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
