Natanael Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Eliézer Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Moraes came free, but Lauro Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glauco Paranaense to make the kick off. With 54 minutes on the clock, Cléber de Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrão Tepedino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lauro Linhares. That made the score 1-1 in the 55 minute of play. Jardel Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lauro Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Eliézer Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Willian da Costa. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Willian da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Paranaense in the 86th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Pinheiro. Lauro Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, CE LAJEADENSE RS could leave the field as winners, despite Agroboys SM - CIMZ having more of the ball for most of the match.
