Tarcisio Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliézer Araújo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Flamengo CIMZ defense, Paulinho Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcisio Tasso. The Flamengo CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcisio Tasso should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Tarcisio Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Silveira in the 17th minute of play. Valério Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Couto in the 19th minute of play. Valério Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber dos Santos in the 20th minute of the match. Valério Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valério Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho Silveira's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Frédson Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valério Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frédson Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Silveira in the 42nd minute of play forced Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo José França was slow to take the kick. During this time Flamengo CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Paulo José França almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro did a great save. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The match ended in a win for Agroboys SM - CIMZ.
