Rodolfo Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Luís Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Falcão Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A A Arizona. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Edgar Godoi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Paulo Jardel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Siqueira made a huge save. If Ismael Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes, Pedro Luís Bertassi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A A Arizona and the LauerArmy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Siqueira made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Rodolfo Siqueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simão Sena to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Guga Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Zonta in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Godoi. In the 59th minute, Hélder dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Siqueira. A A Arizona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 65th minute Paulo Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Geovanni Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LauerArmy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A A Arizona the free kick. Geovanni Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Sena. When LauerArmy's Paulo Jardel in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A A Arizona's goalie prevented a goal. Chicão Freire's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão Freire helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Freire to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Siqueira came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by LauerArmy's Paulo Jardel. But to his dismay, Paulo Jardel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, Guga Freire notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira. Rodolfo Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute, Vágner Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanni Zonta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Siqueira. A A Arizona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the A A Arizona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LauerArmy.
