Lobo Guará's Roberto Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Moraes in the 43rd minute of play. Jorginho Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Monteiro having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulinho Moraes to make the kick off. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá de Lara in the 57th minute of play. Tião de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Albertinho Leite replaced Cacá de Lara. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
