Nelsinho Prata hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Guga Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarcisio Tasso. Flamengo CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guga Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. LauerArmy's Hélder dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guga Freire's late challenge caught a Flamengo CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guga Freire helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Guga Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Humberto Dantas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Flamengo CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Freitas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Jardel got free with Tarcisio Tasso in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Robinho Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LauerArmy played a much better game than Flamengo CIMZ and deserved their victory. The Flamengo CIMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
