It was a penalty for ROSÁRIO SPORT! ROSÁRIO SPORT:s João Carlos Oliveira showed great skill when he stopped Betão Senna:s penalty. João Carlos Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Kempel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute Luizinho Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aílton Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Zonta made a kick off. João Carlos Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Gerber in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Senna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Gerber in the 67th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Zonta in the 73rd minute of play. Lino Zonta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo de Mendonça having to make a save. Wellington Gerber scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lúcio Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Naldo de Alcântara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Carlos Oliveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 87 minutes, Ismael Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROSÁRIO SPORT and the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Betão Senna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rio Verde F.C CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
