Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ligeiro F.C's Adelino Ramalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orlando Sampaio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Chaves saved Ligeiro F.C from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Ligeiro F.C's Frank Tasso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match, Adelino Ramalho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adelino Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Tasso in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Adelino Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Elói Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adelino Ramalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Ligeiro F.C's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Ligeiro F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Orlando Sampaio hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Orlando Sampaio fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 41st minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Tasso succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Adelino Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Tasso in the 70th minute of the match. Ligeiro F.C were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adelino Ramalho took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Betinho Trancoso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Ligeiro F.C fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Ligeiro F.C's Betinho Trancoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamílton Chaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ligeiro F.C's Sandro Paulista was substituted for Adelino Ramalho. Ligeiro F.C's Alessandro Costa was substituted for Elói Barreto. A collision led to Ligeiro F.C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Chico Souto hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
