Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Paw Carbac went to the cornerflag to take it. Andreas Maxsø made a great header on Denmark's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Sebastián Sosa managed to reach the ball for a save. Denmark's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Betzanos in the 42nd minute of play. Nichlas Glastrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sebastián Sosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Denmark's Hassan Wiemert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastián Sosa. Sebastián Sosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uruguay.
