Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raulo Beguellina in the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. The supporters of Kiaxi FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Gervaso might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Gervaso ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raulo Beguellina in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Raulo Beguellina succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Gervaso in the 25th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raulo Beguellina went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Rui Patrício took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Conrado Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Mauricio Santo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiaxi FC's protests and gave Mauricio Santo a yellow card for diving instead. Mauricio Santo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kiaxi FC's Rui Patrício played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 61st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Costa Rica's Rui Patrício threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axel Tasis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rolando Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Donio lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Kiaxi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Costa Rica:s goal. In the 72nd minute of the game, Costa Rica got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 76th minute, Placido Gervaso made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 79th minute, Raulo Beguellina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Fernendo went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 85th minute. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolando Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Rene Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot.
