Benjamin Sykes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ubaldo Lluterio made a huge save. With an all-out effort, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Ubaldo Lluterio threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dominik Smith, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute, Xilo Cortada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Smith in the 42nd minute of the match. Benjamin Sykes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Lluterio having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Centella was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Smith came free, but Ubaldo Lluterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xilo Cortada got free with Luke Hollingsworth in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beto Centella ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Dominik Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Ubaldo Lluterio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
