The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Isak Stenersen. After having played for 5 minutes, Adem Aslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adem Aslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ibrahim Kutluay took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sturle Åsland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Kandemir Özdilek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Ibrahim Kutluay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sturle Åsland. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sturle Åsland should have stopped the shot. Kandemir Özdilek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Tacettin Revha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Arnt Honningsvåg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tacettin Revha was the one to do the kick off. Sturle Åsland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kandemir Özdilek in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Selmi Maksum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sturle Åsland. That made the score 0-8 in the 61 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Dan Ødegaard got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Tacettin Revha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sturle Åsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Hesjedal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Adem Aslan got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Vie in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sancar Aktemur saved GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR from getting behind. Sturle Åsland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmi Maksum in the 78th minute of play. Jon Hesjedal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Kandemir Özdilek came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kandemir Özdilek got free with Sturle Åsland in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Tacettin Revha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sturle Åsland. That made the score 0-9 in the 88 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Ibrahim Kutluay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sturle Åsland, 0-10. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
