After 31 minutes of play, União dos 7 FC's Alfredo Borges made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sturle Åsland was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, McDonald Hamburger put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sturle Åsland. After a defensive mix-up in Åsnes's zone, McDonald Hamburger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sturle Åsland came out of the goal and McDonald Hamburger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when McDonald Hamburger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Fábio Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steffen Askvik hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Leandro Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sturle Åsland having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, McDonald Hamburger put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sturle Åsland. When Albertinho Berger came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the União dos 7 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertinho Berger couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when McDonald Hamburger came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. União dos 7 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
