Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gorom Kanø made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Gorom Kanø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsnes's Christer Waaler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Relja Jurišić's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christer Waaler firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dobromir Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Alsaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tonin Zogu got free with Christer Waaler in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Purple Shadows's Jakob Alberg in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsnes's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Christer Waaler managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Purple Shadows's Relja Jurišić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Relja Jurišić in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christer Waaler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tonin Zogu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Christer Waaler made a huge save. Gorom Kanø might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christer Waaler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gorom Kanø ran back to his position shaking his head. Gorom Kanø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christer Waaler came out and tried to block the shot, but Gorom Kanø slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorom Kanø in the 39th minute of the match. Kristian Sandersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espen Bryhn hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Alberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 53 minutes, Tonin Zogu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Åsnes's Christer Waaler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jakob Alberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernt Alsaker hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Gorom Kanø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorom Kanø in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gorom Kanø in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Waaler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Alsaker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Emil Soliwoda in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Åsnes's Petter Vartdal. When Steffen Askvik fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsnes's protests and gave Steffen Askvik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Askvik to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Jakob Alberg notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Åsnes's Christer Waaler. Christer Waaler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ødegaard. 84 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Gorom Kanø came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tonin Zogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Purple Shadows players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
