The supporters of BE COOL booed when GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alp Eren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sancar Aktemur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dimitris Saltsidis. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Sancar Aktemur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Revha in the 10th minute of play forced BE COOL's goalkeeper Nikos Kyriakou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Sancar Aktemur got control of the ball when Miltos Mouratidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aktaç Sunguralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nikos Kyriakou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Makis Zacharatos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sancar Aktemur. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sancar Aktemur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Spetsarias in the 34th minute of the match. If Aktaç Sunguralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes BE COOL got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Papadaskalopoulos. BE COOL's Nikos Kyriakou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tacettin Revha in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Gürol Bozbey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gürol Bozbey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gürol Bozbey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th minute, one of GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tacettin Revha made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Tacettin Revha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nikos Kyriakou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
