Jan-Aage Eklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Devran Karadağ's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Boğazova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Delmiro Ostots in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devran Karadağ in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Aage Eklund saved Flogo FF from getting behind. Devran Karadağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jan-Aage Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Boğazova's goalkeeper Erenay Yaltırak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Havn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devran Karadağ in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Aage Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Kemal Oykan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Aage Eklund saved Flogo FF from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Mustafa Kemal Oykan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flogo FF's Jan-Aage Eklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Devran Karadağ struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jan-Aage Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boğazova. 26 minutes into the match, Mustafa Kemal Oykan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Flogo FF's Jan-Aage Eklund. Jan-Aage Eklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Devran Karadağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Aage Eklund having to interfere. A collision led to Boğazova getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mustafa Kemal Oykan hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th match minute, Flogo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Sakshaug to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Devran Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boğazova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devran Karadağ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Devran Karadağ came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Boğazova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Devran Karadağ couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Devran Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boğazova's supporters rose to their feet, but Devran Karadağ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Aage Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Boğazova booed when Flogo FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ådne Roald didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Kemal Oykan in the 64th minute of play forced Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boğazova's Reno Torosidis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kent Sakshaug in the 67 minute of the game. Devran Karadağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boğazova's Ceyhan Okan was substituted for Devran Karadağ. Boğazova's Macit Ünsevin was substituted for Semavi Eryiğit. Ceyhan Okan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Jan-Aage Eklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Flogo FF booed when Boğazova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şerif Makul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Demirhan İdris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boğazova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demirhan İdris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Boğazova's Ceyhan Okan in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flogo FF's goalie prevented a goal. Boğazova's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
