The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alkan Özil hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Relja Jurišić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tonin Zogu during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stylus United booed when Purple Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonin Zogu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tonin Zogu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Purple Shadows fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonin Zogu couldn't finish the play.
