Ellande Aguinagalde didn't quite understand what happened when in the 26 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Atlético Bucaramanga's Juan-Carlos Gonzalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Bucaramanga from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Elixio Garros came free, but Lorien Vilela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Juan-Carlos Gonzalo made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Hulberto Arango was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Bucaramanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vänge IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético Bucaramanga's Hulberto Arango got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee ignored Atlético Bucaramanga's protests and gave Sherman Cardenas a yellow card for diving instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Dragomir Krachanov put in a rough tackle. 73 minutes into the game, one of Vänge IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Albäck in the 76th minute of the match. Lorien Vilela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lugo Saavedra in the 78th minute. Markus Albäck kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Elixio Garros fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lorien Vilela, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Lugo Saavedra took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Lorien Vilela to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the game, Nabucodonosor Segundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vänge IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
