After 10 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by Merdan Topcu. Sancar Aktemur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Aspengren in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Gürol Bozbey got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes, Vänge IF's Rune Aspengren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sancar Aktemur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vänge IF reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Mauro Otsoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sancar Aktemur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando got control of the ball when Ibrahim Kutluay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Vänge IF's Mauro Otsoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sancar Aktemur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Sancar Aktemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 27th minute of play. Sancar Aktemur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Giordani, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sancar Aktemur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Giordani in the 32nd minute of the match. Sancar Aktemur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Giordani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Bruno Giordani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sancar Aktemur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vänge IF made a substitution. Bengt Vestlund replaced Rune Aspengren. Vänge IF's Sefa Danış was substituted for Mauro Otsoa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Giordani was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Olsson to maneuver through the defense. Sefa Danış's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sancar Aktemur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ciriaco Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alp Eren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Aktaç Sunguralp got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sancar Aktemur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Sancar Aktemur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Giordani in the 67th minute. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Adamski in the 68th minute of play. Sefa Danış received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sancar Aktemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sefa Danış took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Sancar Aktemur to make any attempt to save it. 76 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tacettin Revha came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vänge IF's Axel Aronsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Boğaç Atikoğlu, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Sefa Danış made a precise shot to the right of Sancar Aktemur. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goalkeeper Sancar Aktemur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Sancar Aktemur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Eren in the 91st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Doğuş Sidar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ciriaco Hernando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 96th minute, Sefa Danış got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vänge IF played a much better game than GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR and deserved their victory. The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
