The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lugo Saavedra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Lugo Saavedra had several of the Under Construct's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luiz Fábio Pombal as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luiz Fábio Pombal was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Weterio Caceo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Weterio Caceo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Silvério Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Under Construct's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Bucaramanga the free kick. When Stan Polspoel fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Under Construct's protests and gave Stan Polspoel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Stan Polspoel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Under Construct's Luiz Fábio Pombal got control of the ball when Weterio Caceo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 minutes, Hulberto Arango mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Bucaramanga and the Under Construct players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Atlético Bucaramanga got a freekick which was hit by Hulberto Arango. A collision led to Atlético Bucaramanga getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Weterio Caceo hit a great ball. Henry Huyghebaert kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's Sherman Cardenas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fábio Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sherman Cardenas hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, 史然扬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvério Tróia was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Weterio Caceo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jeremy Panhuijsen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Under Construct's attentive Stan Polspoel managed to snatch the ball when Hulberto Arango made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Angelo Cibran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Under Construct fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weterio Caceo in the 62nd minute of play forced Under Construct's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Under Construct's Angelo Cibran. But to his dismay, Angelo Cibran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 70 minutes into the match, Under Construct's goal looked a bit too open when Silban Bonifaz came free, but Luiz Fábio Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, 史然扬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Lugo Saavedra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Bucaramanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Luiz Fábio Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherman Cardenas in the 77th minute of the match. Henry Huyghebaert hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Under Construct defense, Silban Bonifaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Pombal. The Under Construct fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Pombal should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Elixio Garros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio Pombal. Under Construct's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elixio Garros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. 92 minutes into the game, Weterio Caceo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Luiz Fábio Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Under Construct's Luiz Fábio Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weterio Caceo in the 95th minute of play. Under Construct's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
