Inocencio Tarresola hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Łukasz Fabiański made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Goren in the 6th minute. The LOS HUITOS fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when LOS HUITOS's Jorge Goren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute Marco Zust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Azulgranas's Zadornin Goyeneta got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Tarresola in the 20th minute of play forced LOS HUITOS's goalkeeper Florentino Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Fernado hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Azulgranas got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Cuezba. In the 34th minute, Sánchez Castruita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of LOS HUITOS booed when Azulgranas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanny Sabugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Gaudencio Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Sánchez Castruita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LOS HUITOS's Florentino Weterio. Florentino Weterio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 played minutes LOS HUITOS got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Fernado. In the 44th minute of the match Marco Zust shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Weterio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Azulgranas's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Palben came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Łukasz Fabiański tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Palben was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Goren in the 51st minute of play forced Azulgranas's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes Azulgranas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santo Goito who took care of the corner kick. The corner led LOS HUITOS's Santo Goito to fire away a dangerous shot which Łukasz Fabiański despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Sánchez Castruita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florentino Weterio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Florentino Weterio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Inocencio Tarresola sent off a good shot on target. Inocencio Tarresola was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Azulgranas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Palben in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, LOS HUITOS's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Berrios came free, but Florentino Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the LOS HUITOS defense, Ulises Terroba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Weterio. The LOS HUITOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Weterio should have stopped the shot. Francisco Berrios might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Weterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Berrios ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Azulgranas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ulises Terroba hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, LOS HUITOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Goren to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, LOS HUITOS's Florentino Weterio got control of the ball when Victoriano Movilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Dani Fase managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azulgranas's supporters rose to their feet, but Dani Fase was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoriano Movilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Florentino Weterio made a huge save.
