Deportivo Mukenio's Jairo Aurre quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michaël Guillot in the 19th minute of play forced Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aziz Akarsu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Deportivo Mukenio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Akarsu couldn't finish the play. Ismael Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velimir Bostandzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save CWKS KĘDZIERZYN from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute of the match Deportivo Mukenio got a corner. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aziz Akarsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Aziz Akarsu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu. Niculae Romanescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute Aziz Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
