Silban Mudarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jim Håkansson's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Sven-Olof Blomkvist got a free kick in the 20th minute. Robin Olsen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dan Engström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Håkansson in the 22nd minute of play forced Nelsonteam's goalkeeper Silban Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Olsen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dan Engström. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Uno Björklund got a free kick in the 29th minute. Robin Olsen came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nelsonteam's Celso Rivas. But to his dismay, Celso Rivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Nelsonteam booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Nelsonteam's Celso Rivas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Olsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Cresenciano Moya hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Jim Håkansson put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silban Mudarra.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jim Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Nelsonteam got a freekick which was hit by Celso Rivas. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Jim Håkansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Silban Mudarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Johannes Kvarnström was slow to take the kick. During this time Haymakers FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nelsonteam's goalie and right to Kurt Ahlbeck. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nelsonteam's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 65th minute, Sven-Olof Mogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cresenciano Moya came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
