Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Danel in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Severo Danel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro. Gabriel Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, CSKA-LULIN's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Ronaldo came free, but Vitomir Starokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luganeros AFC's Eliseo Bittor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yanek Davchev, made in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Danel in the 45th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luganeros AFC's Ricardo Oinaz was substituted for Janusz Ziemniak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jacinto in the 57th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vitomir Starokin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vázquez in the 92nd minute of play. The CSKA-LULIN fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when CSKA-LULIN's Mito Kulov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Luganeros AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CSKA-LULIN's performance. The match ended with a win for CSKA-LULIN.
