The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th match minute, Dark Drinkers Sanok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Zanetti to maneuver through the defense. Dark Drinkers Sanok's supporters rose to their feet, but Benet Amorebieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincent Cielencki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Lukasz Jaszynski notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik. Józef Wandzik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the game, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Benet Amorebieta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wincent Cielencki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jack Lund hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mevlüt Serin in the 29th minute of play forced Dark Drinkers Sanok's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, Benet Amorebieta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wincent Cielencki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A nice corner shot did that Nando Campidelis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wincent Cielencki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wincent Cielencki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 35th minute of the match. Wincent Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benet Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mevlüt Serin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Wincent Cielencki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benet Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes Wy-pas got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Trojanowski. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mevlüt Serin was the one to do the kick off. Wincent Cielencki came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Drinkers Sanok's Benet Amorebieta. But to his dismay, Benet Amorebieta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Józef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Mazierski in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th play minute Roch Mazierski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Józef Wandzik. 3-3. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ace Ventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Wy-pas's Wincent Cielencki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benet Amorebieta in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Benet Amorebieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Wincent Cielencki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Ace Ventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Wandzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Dark Drinkers Sanok got a freekick which was hit by Jack Lund. Wincent Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benet Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match Dark Drinkers Sanok got a corner. Wy-pas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nando Campidelis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nando Campidelis made a great header on Dark Drinkers Sanok's corner, it was just that Wy-pas's Wincent Cielencki managed to reach the ball for a save. Wincent Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benet Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Wy-pas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
