An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Chen Yan in the 18th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Lano. Adrián Espadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibaut Courtois having to make a save. After 32 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Lano. Hernan Lano spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Szczakowianka's goal. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Perkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Lano in the 47th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Perkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Wennerqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedykt Perkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Perkowski came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3.
