But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhuo Feng Lei couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carel Huiting, made in the 8th minute of the game. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Rooy in the 10th minute of play. Niels Rooy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carel Huiting, made in the 15th minute of the game. Niels Rooy struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Maquis. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Niels Rooy managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Maquis's supporters rose to their feet, but Niels Rooy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when 陈建川 tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to The Maquis getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lech Dudek hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Niels Rooy came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niels Rooy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niels Rooy. 42 minutes into the game, Niels Rooy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, The Maquis's Niels Rooy got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Niels Rooy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Maquis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 56th minute, Niels Rooy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play forced The Maquis's goalkeeper Walther Jano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 70th minute, Niels Rooy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niels Rooy, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niels Rooy in the 77th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Rooy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The The Maquis fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when The Maquis's Niels Rooy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Maquis's Carel Huiting. When the referee ended the match the The Maquis players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
