Cagua Seoane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes RockCity F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cagua Seoane quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Cagua Seoane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. RockCity F.C.'s Cagua Seoane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, RockCity F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Matthijs to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cagua Seoane skillfully saved the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 12th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cagua Seoane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by RockCity F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cagua Seoane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cagua Seoane having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Joel Gaona shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for RockCity F.C.'s Cagua Seoane to catch but Joel Gaona was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by RockCity F.C.'s Fabian Reborio. But to his dismay, Fabian Reborio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cagua Seoane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zayveon Quiroz. In the 44th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Cagua Seoane. RockCity F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Damián Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Cagua Seoane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. In the 53rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. RockCity F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cagua Seoane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Reborio in the 60th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cagua Seoane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Cagua Seoane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cagua Seoane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RockCity F.C. made a substitution. Ramiro Larrea replaced Philippe-Arnaud Matthijs. 76 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Cagua Seoane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, RockCity F.C.'s Cagua Seoane got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cagua Seoane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. RockCity F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
