Cheb El-Hadi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Wara getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jean-Baptiste Boulebda hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Larkins Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wara's Faouzi Louahla got a free kick in the 29th minute. Wara's Elias Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Eusko in the 30th minute of play. Larkins Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Larkins Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Larkins Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rick Shaw could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Elias Urdaspal made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fleetwood Town's Manos Natsis got a free kick in the 39th minute. Cristian Mateo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larkins Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With his leg Elias Urdaspal managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Fleetwood Town's Rick Shaw fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jean-Baptiste Boulebda fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wara's protests and gave Jean-Baptiste Boulebda a yellow card for diving instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rick Shaw stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Fleetwood Town defense, Larkins Potter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Mateo. The Fleetwood Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Mateo should have stopped the shot. Cristian Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larkins Potter in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Wara's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Barto came free, but Elias Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Larkins Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faouzi Louahla got free with Cristian Mateo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larkins Potter in the 67th minute of the match. Larkins Potter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Mateo having to make a save. Elias Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fleetwood Town's Cristian Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Oğuzer Saye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wara's Faouzi Louahla got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Esteve Barto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fleetwood Town's Cristian Mateo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Fleetwood Town from getting a goal against them. Elias Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Eusko in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Sebastián Battaglia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Cheb El-Hadi in the 92nd minute really tested Cristian Mateo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cristian Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larkins Potter in the 93rd minute of the match.
When the referee ended the match the Fleetwood Town players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
