In the 17th minute, Márcio Quental ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Antoni Majtyka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Quental went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Ström took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finlay Stair to strike the kick off in the second half.
