Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Doro in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Deportivo Mandiyu's Roberto Cherro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Peter. Flavio Peter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4.
The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Mandiyu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
