Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Jeremias Stewarts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Stewarts got free with Julio Vera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesús Caminero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Phil Mills left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argen-Taino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jesús Caminero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Argen-Taino's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jesús Caminero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesús Caminero having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesús Caminero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Stewarts kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Stewarts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Stewarts in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Phil Mills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Argen-Taino players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesús Caminero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Stewarts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesús Caminero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Stewarts in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Jeremias Stewarts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argen-Taino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Stewarts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Argen-Taino made a substitution. Stanley Manzanares replaced Graciano Verón. Jesús Caminero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustín Saelices during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Argen-Taino's Blas Aicega was substituted for Gonzalo Vinicio. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Argen-Taino.
