With an all-out effort, PLUMIN's Ariel Ponc threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmiro Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Ferrer got free with Ariel Ponc in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Massó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ariel Ponc managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when PLUMIN's Simon Ferrer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Fernendo in the 25th minute of play. Ariel Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Mel in the 29th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Simon Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Lehior in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Massó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delmiro Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ariel Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Mel in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc got control of the ball when Simon Ferrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Mel in the 45th minute of play. After 47 minutes Villa Mitre City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Orlondon who took care of the corner kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Villa Mitre City's Imam Sarwono was substituted for Saturnino Lehior. PLUMIN's Cirilo Salvino was substituted for Delmiro Mel. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Fernendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Salvino in the 54th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Fernendo in the 92nd minute of play. Rodrigo Massó made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Mauricio Macías sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre City's zone, Simon Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Ponc came out of the goal and Simon Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Villa Mitre City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
