Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Marinho in the 25th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Lisandro Nuñez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis. Kuno Lüdimõis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Shao Zhen Xiao in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC ICEWIND DALE's Ismail Perin. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Boguslaw Zdeb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Astigar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Léon Valin got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Ding Beckham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Erik Stor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Ciriaco Cordarrell replaced Lisandro Nuñez. A collision led to FC ICEWIND DALE getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Erik Stor hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Fernando Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Marinho in the 80th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ding Beckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Astigar having to interfere. FC ICEWIND DALE's Wincent Debowski was substituted for Boguslaw Zdeb. SAN LORENZO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
