Damazy Kensicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Elmar Roorda hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Damazy Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Malicki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damazy Kensicki firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 12 minutes Soczewki Gliwice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Paulo Zonta who took care of the corner kick. In the 13th minute, Tomasz Sobania made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Sobania in the 20th minute of play. Damazy Kensicki made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adam Pacholewski sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zdzislaw Witek who took care of the corner kick. Tomasz Sobania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 30th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Tomasz Sobania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Tomasz Sobania managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soczewki Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Sobania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomasz Sobania to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Tomasz Sobania made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania. But to his dismay, Tomasz Sobania quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 67th minute, Kacem von Felten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soczewki Gliwice's Jago Back was substituted for Mister Rio. Kacem von Felten hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Damazy Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 69th minute of the match. If Thomas Vollmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Sobania. After taking down the ball on Soczewki Gliwice's corner Zdzislaw Witek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mikolaj Jerzyk quite easily take care of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute Soczewki Gliwice were awarded a corner. Zdzislaw Witek went to the cornerflag to take it. Mikolaj Jerzyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Zdzislaw Witek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mikolaj Jerzyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Sobania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute of the game Zé Paulo Zonta made a throw-in which Marian Erland played forward. The Soczewki Gliwice players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
