The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Kossakowski in the 10th minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Dane Toth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Kazimierz Kossakowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Klaas Dejonghe to make any attempt to save it. Kazimierz Kossakowski in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Klaas Dejonghe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Szymon Michnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kazimierz Kossakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazimierz Kossakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Klaas Dejonghe made a huge save. Wincenty Sikola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kempski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Kossakowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaas Dejonghe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Kazimierz Kossakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klaas Dejonghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Kossakowski in the 43rd minute.
