In the 12th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Santana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 31 minutes Desportivo Coala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu Ringaa who took care of the corner kick. Galo do Japi's Cafu Ringaa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Desportivo Coala's Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 39th minute of play. Desportivo Coala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Carlos Santana scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo, making the score, 4-0. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes in the game Cauã Novaes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Guilherme Hermes. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Santana to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Desportivo Coala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 56th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Cléberson Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Santana scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Carlos Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana. But to his dismay, Carlos Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 73 minutes into the match, Carlos Santana notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara got a free kick in the 76th minute. Faustão Schmidt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronaldo Giovanelli. Galo do Japi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Carlos Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Desportivo Coala's goalie prevented a goal. Galo do Japi's attentive Belmiro Caca-Rato managed to snatch the ball when Adhemar Tinoco made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game.
