Melquiades Amor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Melquiades Amor threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgílio Gaúcho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Paião kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Amor. That made the score 0-6 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute Arí Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
