Augusto Demaria made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Zico Galo sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute of the match Velho Barreiro FC got a corner. Tormenta EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Siqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Velho Barreiro FC's Michel Siqueira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Augusto Demaria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Stamatas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Garcia in the 29th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Naldo Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Bernard Dyczkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Demaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Demaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Galo in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto França in the 67th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto França hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Beto França fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Jorge Valdivia kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Velho Barreiro FC's Zico Galo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Demaria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Tormenta EC's Pio Echavarri got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zico Galo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Demaria saved Tormenta EC from getting behind. Augusto Demaria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Gaúcho in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bai Ang to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Zico Galo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velho Barreiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Tormenta EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
